Celebrating an Anniversary - Indian Style
Our last full weekend in India turned out to be a time of farewell combined with a celebration for our wedding anniversary that had occurred earlier that week. The staff of Paramjyoti school thought it would be wonderful to demonstrate a traditional Indian wedding ceremony for Tony and I - using us as the bride and groom!
Prior to the festivities of the video below, the staff presented us with our clothes to wear for the day and then blessed the clothes and my feet (using turmeric).
